MICROSCOPE
Invention: invented by either Zacharias Janssen of the Netherlands or Gallielo Galielei of Italy by the end of fifteenth century.
It was Antony van leeuwenhoek, who the first time used a crude (1676), simple microscope consisting of a bioconcave lens enclosed in two metal plates to describe protozoa and bacteria.

Robert Hooke had used a compound microscope in eighteen century.
